CALIBRATION OF OTHER DEVICES

Why calibration?

Every measuring device over time and with intense use is subjected to accuracy deviation. Therefore, it is necessary to periodically perform a specific checking of the measurement accuracy which is called calibration.

Previous checks

First, check if your measuring device is in the range of 200N to 5MN (if it is for force measurement) or in the range of 20Nm to 1000Nm (if it is for torque measurement).
Check the functionality and correctness of the device.

Required documentation for opening calibration procedure:

1. Application for each device individually, certified by signature and seal (for individuals only signature).
   The application is obtained in the calibration laboratory, or you can download it here
2. Payment for administrative fee of 50 mkd.
3. Certificates of previous calibration (if any)
4. Instructions from the device manufacturer (if any)

Where to submit the device and the documents

The application and evidence of administrative fee payment are brought in Calibration laboratory of force and torque at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje.
The application and required documents can be submitted by mail to: Karposh II bb 1000 Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
In application is stated the exact location of the device.
Calibration request can be communicated by email callab@mf.edu.mk, or phone (+389 2 3099270).

DEADLINE FOR CALIBRATION

The calibration is completed within five working days from the moment when needed working conditions will be created (ex. prepared aids, etc.).
The certificate is issued after the payment according to the issued invoice.

PRICE:

For the service invoice is issued.
The cost of the service is according to the applicable price list.

NOTES:

The entire calibration procedure is performed in accordance with guidelines provided in the manuals for performing professional and technical matters, as well as applicable legislation governing this area.

The customer can fill a questionnaire about the quality of service. The questionnaire could be found in the office of Calibration laboratory of force and torque at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje, or can be downloaded here. Also, the questionnaire can be hand over the same office, or can be sent on following e-mail address: callab@mf.edu.mk

A costumer may file a complaint about the work of calibration laboratory of force and torque. The complaint may be submitted to the laboratory office at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Skopje, or can be sent via e-mail at: callab@mf.edu.mk
